Summary: Booked via Hotel.com and received a message from B&B about the possibility to check in beforehand if I send back my data or I could also do it myself at the computer if I arrived after 23:00. Wrote back with my data but didn’t receive any new message or a code for checking in. Reception was supposed to be open until 23:00 but when we arrived at 22:50 it was closed. The self check in didn’t work as the reservation number wasn’t sent to me by B&B and wasn’t the same as the travel number send by Hotels.com when booked. Luckily I found an employee after 10-15 minutes who hadn’t left. He wanted me to check in myself but after explaining it was impossible, he could find the right reservation number in the hotel system so I could check myself in. If I had arrived a few minutes later, I wouldn’t have had any way of checking in and get access to my room. The room was clean and well organized for a family of four but it was too close a call I didn’t get to experience it.
