Wakeup to sunrises over Mt. Baker and the Twin Sisters while staying at this Beachside home at Sandy Point, WA. End your day with gorgeous sunsets over the Strait of Georgia and the San Juan Islands. In between enjoy beachcombing, watching whales and local wildlife, or just relaxing in a comfortable chair on the deck enjoying the views.
The master bedroom features a luxurious king sized foam bed, high quality linens, down comforter and beautiful views of the beach out of the double opening doors. In addition there are two guest rooms, one with a queen size bed the other with two twin beds and both rooms are fitted wiith cozy linens and comforters.
Make your meals in the fully equipped kitchen with granite counters, stainless steel appiances and everything you will need to whip up a gourmet meal, or bbq up a feast on the gas bbq while gazing out at the ocean or Mount Baker. The living room has three couches (one with a hide-a-bed) TV with a DVD player and a surround sound system. Enjoy a fire in the custom created gas river rock fireplace where the stones were hand picked from the Nooksack river.
While visiting Beachside be sure and walk the many trails, visit the marina and stroll the three mile long beach. Tennis, basketball and pickleball are also a short stroll away.
Seven (7) quality golf courses are within a half hours drive. Enjoy fabulous dining & entertainment at The Silver Reef Casino which is only 10 minutes away. Shopping and other entertainment is also nearby in either Bellingham, Ferndale, Bellingham or Blaine. The slopes and trails of Mt. Baker are a 75 minute drive to the east.
