During Whale watching season you can see whales spouting within yards of the shore line, not to mention the occasional dolphin, porpoise, seal, sea lion, or any number of seabirds. Wildlife in is abundance year round.
The sunsets are stunning throughout all the seasons. Once it is dark, the night lights of seaside and fishing boats twinkle on the horizon as the sounds of the waves crashing on the rocks below, envelope the true essence of the beach.
This Condo is atop of the 3rd floor all on one level just steps from an elevator making this unit ADA accessible. The condo is well appointed with new furnishings, linens and comfortable beds. Extra touches of cozy throws and pillows to snuggle up in front of the fireplace whether that be in the great-room or Master Bedroom.
The kitchen is well stocked and has spices and equipment to prepare gourmet meals. The true chef appreciates the upscale Kitchen Aid gas stove for even temperature cooking! If preparing a large meal over a Holiday weekend there is a second oven to aid in your preparation! There is formal dinning for 6 and Dishes for 8. The large kitchen counter is excellent for Buffet serving, quick snacks or breakfast.
This location is ideal with the spectacular views, yet away from the hustle and bustle of the promenade; but close enough to access by choice. It is a leisurely 1/2 mile walk to the beach through a lovely neighborhood before reaching the famous Seaside cove a known surfing destination!
Out the front door is the Tillamook Trail head with the iconic hike (6.3 miles) to Indian Beach in Ecola State park .The terrain is rugged, gorgeous with filtered views through forest branches of the Pacific Ocean. This location allows you to visit many of the Northern Coast gems including many State Parks and Museums. Several Beach towns are close enough to make the short trip- Astoria, a quaint town with wonderful shops, craft breweries, museums- it is rich with history, Gerhardt which includes a 18 hole golf course and Cannon Beach, home of the famous Haystack Rock, a well known landmark.
Things to do include a WIDE variety- hiking, surfing, golfing, horse back riding, biking, shopping, dinning, helicopter tours, Bi plane rides, kayaking, clamming (in-season) -Bumper cars, miniature golf, Carousel and many other carnival games at the Seaside Funland Arcade, zip-lining, Museum and State Park explorations.
Some the best times are the leisurely walks on the expansive Seaside Beach (1/2 mile down the road) looking for perfect seashells and sand dollars or a stroll along the promenade.
