Town: The village of Kirklington lies east of Masham and south of Bedale, mid-way between Yorkshire’s National Parks, the Dales and the Moors. Kirklington is a well laid out village with a huge village green surrounded by older houses as well as a church and village pub. Across the fields (1/2 mile) is Camp Hill Adventure Park, and within easy reach is the market town of Masham, which is situated on the River Ure. Masham boasts a range of crafts, galleries, shops, restaurants and pubs, and is the home to the Black Sheep Brewery, which now brews 11 million pints of beer a year! Ideally placed for exploring all of the famous Dales of the Yorkshire Dales National Park or the North York Moors National Park. The city of York is less than an hour away and Harrogate is about 40 minutes’ drive.
